How do you like the name Nola for a girl?

What are your thoughts on this name??

I really and not a big fan of Nola. But I think it could be used nicely as a middle name. I think I would prefer Nora.

Sorry, but it is not the type of name that I would used. But it matters what YOU think. And if you really like it then use it. It doens't matter what people on Yahoo Answers think, it matters what you think.

If i wouldn't associate it New Orleans, I think I would like it better.. but like the other person, I'm from Louisiana, and Nola already has a meaning to us.

But if you like it.. Then use it!

Nola is what I use to shorten New Orleans, LA NOLA...so, i'm not fond of it.

I do like the name Nola but would you call her Haley or Nola or

Casey as a nn ? Or is Casey your last name. Don't like the hyphen though between Nola and Casey.

It's a ok name.. It is different and I have never heard it. So if your going for a unique and different name that is one! But it's your choice on which you name your daughter! Congrats and good luck to you!
