How do you listen to voice mail on a home phone?

my home phone has voice mail and it says i have a new message but i dont know how to listen to it! i tryed everything... thanks

and if your wondering i just got this home phone & i dont know where the manual is so yeah thanks

mine works by calling my home phone number from that phone and it takes me directly to my voice mail.

That's sooooo funny! Usually, I dial my home number from my home phone and it takes me into my voicemail; but some services require the passcode even when dialing from home.

If you don't have the manual, it would help to know what make and type of phone it is as all will be slightly different.

first dial your house number then it will ask u some questions then you can listen to your meseages.
