  1. Why ... ?

Sometimes it is preferable not to question too hastily as the answer is morally reprehensible and spiritually wounding.

Knowing all the answers does not an easier and contented life create. Ignorance is seldom bliss. The loss of innocence notable only when it gives birth to wisdom.

Wisdom in the hands of the foolish and ignorant is wisdom lost.

  2. i say d**n wikipedia then forget about it and get on with my life

  3. This is a good question because living without answers to questions hardly appeals at all but makes up a large part of this life, so how do you live with it indeed.  Perhaps a part of it is, that we want an answer to questions but only if the answers we find are those we can live with or accept.

There are those questions that have no definitive answer because they are about such things as human behaviour, which I can't speak for others but to me is at times baffling .  The answer to those type of questions constantly changes for me, and just when I think I figure it out I realize I know nothing.

There are those really tough technical questions in subjects related to math or science that no matter how many diagrams or hands on models are used still don't make sense to someone like me with no technical mind to interpret it all with.  Knowing the answer can be like living without it anyway.

So in my opinion it's up to the individual to decide how much of life's questions they can live with unanswered and which key questions they must have answered.  There is worthiness in the pursuit of answers to life's questions.  Answers can further the development of the mind but better yet I hope furthers a shared consciousness in humans.  And perhaps having no answers might foster the opposite but more than likely it fosters the human condition that makes us unable to know others or this existence at all.

  4. Keep asking them again and again and you will get the answers

  5. I don't even think about it.  Why fret over question you'll never find an answer to?

  6. Keep searching - that's what makes us who we are.

  7. It's not difficult to live with big questions and I find it quite cathartic and interesting just to speculate about what may or may not be possible.

Also, there is so much awe inspiring information that is available that I know I'm never going to be able to know all the things that I would love to know about the universe are part of. I feel privileged to live in a time where do know so much but I'd love to see what we know in 1000 or even 500 years time.  (If the Idiots in charge don't decide to use war, pollution or religion to destroy our world and send our species back to the stone age)

  8. If we could find an answer to every question we asked, what a simple place the world would be. What a boring, predictable life we would all have.

Is that what you would like?

Always to know where you are?

  9. that's why we choose the best answer NOT the right one.

  10. Answering questions is a process. You live with it by focusing on the process rather than the goal - by living in the present instead of the future.

  11. Acceptance. There are some questions in this world which you are not going to find the answer. I keep researching, asking others perspectives and continue on in my search to find the answer. In the end, I have acceptance that some of my questions will not have an answer.

  12. there is no point fretting over it. ill just get on with my life and ignore it. if of course it is a big question i will keep asking, but i dont need to know everything and some questions are best left unanswered. i guess i'd push the question to the back of my mind and live life to the full =]

  13. There are no questions in my life that do not have an answer. There is always an answer, whether it is the answer we seek  or wish to hear is another matter, but an answer is always given.

Maybe life is stalled, or we have ceased to listen or give consideration to the questioning of others. At this moment in time there are no unanswered questions arising in my heart.

  14. If it is important to you then you keep on searching and asking. Remember this, questions are only solutions in disguise and sometimes you have to employ a little lateral thinking in your search for enlightenment.

  15. This is true in our world of change and limitation...it is the mind that moves, dragging "us" with it.  Thus, even if an answer is found, it might be a temporary answer or only suited to a specific set of circumstances.  We must learn to accept Paradox, for it is here that all exists...all inclusive, all encompassing...the absolute All That Is.  Unfound answers are not so dissimilar from temporary or morphing and changing answers...all are suited to the now of Now, tailored to the circumstances of that particular moment.  When we acquiesce to Source as an open container/agent for Its flowing wisdom, we no longer "seek" that which we already are...then, every moment is perfect.  We are no longer diverted or distracted from What Is as it is, struggling to control outcomes, attempting to put an ego-spin on every event in our lives.  Ironic, no, that we all hang out in the Question & Answer Forum?  So, then, is this not the perfect Paradox...that we listen to one another as we sincerely seek answers, or even ask burning questions?  Ahhhhhh...it is as it is.  And it constantly arises and falls away, reforming into new circumstances, contexts, questions, answers...and we cannot run fast enough to catch up, with our chaotic mind pursuing the last or next thing while missing the "current" moment.  Thus, the adage: Go with the flow...in other words, remain current in the current of Life, aware of "this" moment only, harmoniously riding the wave that emerges before it falls away into the Ocean and re-emerges as another unique moment.  This, after all, is all there is...Source is all that is.  Enjoy!

  16. Keep them in my mind and keep looking for information.

It's out there somewhere, isn't it??

  17. keep asking, by the way what do you want to know

  18. It depends on the question.  Some questions do not have an answer.

"If a tree falls in the forest and there is absolutely no one to hear it, does it make a sound?"

'Which came first, the chicken or the egg."

This type of question challenges people to think and explore ideas.

Someone can make up an answer. In both science and philosophy seeking answers leads to more questions and possibilities.  So we all have to live with more questions than concrete forever answers.

The important thing is to live with the questions and enjoy the dilemma of not knowing.  Unanswered questions are what makes life interesting. It is what makes  science and technology possible, Thought is what makes us different as humans.

It is no substitute for enjoying life even if times one really feels that they need an answer like why do we have wars or why does a person die?  .

In short human life is based on unanswered and unanswerable questions. Accepting this and seeking a balance between finding out and enjoying life is to live a full life. Never thinking or accepting bogus answers is a half life.

  19. Firstly use my favourite interweb search engine in a skillful manner. If no joy with other sources then distract myself and let those questions inhabit the back of my mind. Let my subconsciousness work on them in the background. Concertrate on those questions (problems?) which are essential and answerable (able to be solved?)

  20. The question for which no answer there is matters not.

Phrased in the style of master yoda your question is.

  21. Learn to accept that which

    can't be found, because there's

a reason your eyes can't see

    an answer.

  22. acceptance

  23. Depends, depends on what you mean.

Ultimately I like the anonolgy of a sparrow building a nest of which it understands well compared to it trying to comprehend a house of bricks and mortar. It is simply beyond it. Some things are simply beyond us.

Of course sometimes your asking the wrong question to find the answer you seek.

And yet theres another approach .. the first guys that discovered the shape of dna did so by comparing lots of data to find the bits that matched up and managed to extrapolate from that, accurately, the shape. They described it as comparing the splashings of paint over an object you couldnt see - but could see the splashes. From that you may be able to work it out. Of course you may never get the proof that it is accurate - but you will have a good idea that is well backed up. It may be enough if its the best you got.

Then of course there is the brute force appraoch - keep asking until you get it.

Yet another is to apply theory after theory until one fits best and you are unable to find a better fit.

There is also the theory that those are better trained in doing something will be more likely to attain a certain result that someone not trained may only produce randomly.

Im sure there are more views, points, theorys etc than that.

But Im sure Ive given you some food for thought.

I guess a more direct answer is when you are satisfied that you have done all you can to find the answer.

When you are able to accept that you wont find it, then you stop looking.
