How do you load a Skeleton Gun when doing DIY?

We are trying to seal around the bath but the gun has no instructions and it's not obvious how to load it.

If you dont know how to use a skeleton gun. Them you expect to use a sealant which takes skill to do right. Get some one to do it for you

alan has a good answer if its a caulking gun.  Is it?  What you have to remember that when you start to dispense the caulk is dispense it evenly.  Use your finger after you dispense it and smooth along your your line.  All excess should be taken up with a wet rag.  So the smaller the hole you dispense with the better.

First, pull back the plunger. If it has ratchet teeth on it, turn it upside down so the teeth are on top, then turn it right side up after it's all the way back. If it doesn't have teeth, it will have a friction clutch of some kind - look for a steel tab sticking out near where the plunger shaft comes out of the back of the gun. Press the tab to release the clutch, then pull the plunger back. Put the tube into the gun front end first, line the back end up with the plunger, and squeeze the lever a couple of times to get a little pressure on the plunger. Snip off the tip of the nozzle, then stick a long nail down into it to puncture the seal inside.
