How do you load a picture off your comp as avatar?

You have to get a Yahoo! 360 account and upload your picture to that as your primary picture, then adjust Your Yahoo! Answers profile to show your Yahoo! 360 primary picture instead of your Yahoo! Avatar.

The "Edit Picture Feature" is where you'd see a link back to 360.yahoo.com to add or upload a picture, to replace your Avatar http://avatar.yahoo.com

Currently you can't make the change and Yahoo! has posted a system message in the profile editor saying so.

To vew the message go to your account at http://account.yahoo.com and sign in. On the far right click the link to "Edit/Create Profiles", click the profile "Edit" link. Above where your picture is located you'll see "The Edit Picture feature is temporarily unavailable. Please check again later.", as of this writing.

Check it periodically. While there are other ways to go to 360.yahoo.com http://360.yahoo.com  the Account information area is only place I see status clearly displayed.
