How do you look up a massage class?

I want to know how to give a massage. I can practice on random friends but I don't really know what I'm doing. When I type in my city name and massage class I get baby massage, couples massage, hot stone massage, etc. Basically everything I don't need.

Is there a technical name for just a message to relax someone, take out knots, release tension? What are the proper key words I should use?

try "Swedish Massage".  That is your regular, relaxation massage.

There is an instructional dvd that is very good to learn a basic swedish massage by Dr. James Mally.  He has been doing massage since 1975.

You can learn from dvds or go to your local massage school and they usually offer a one day workshop for people who are interested in going to massage school.  You can learn enough there to start with.
