  5. Stop the junk food and the soda pop. Start working out allot. Stay focused and think positive. It will not happen over night give yourself time. You can do it. Chew food for 35 times, drink lots of water. Good Luck :)

  8. diet and exercise.  The same way you would lose 20 lbs.  just don't stop after 20, keep going.  It is going to take you at least a year of losing 8 lbs a week.  So, maybe more than a year.  Good luck.  Less calories than you burn is the general.  There are sites that will help you learn how to do that.  Just do a google search for specified diet and fitness plans if that is what you want.

    Also, I read your other question, How to get to 500lbs.  What, did you decide that was a dumb idea?  What is it that you are trying to figure out?

  13. Umm, where are u at rite noww, n o way to loose that much weight without having surgery! The proper way would be fitness but since u have soo much fat on u, its harder for the muscles to work which gives u that "lazy" state in where all u can do is eat!

  14. I would seek a doctor and dieticians help.  It can be done, slowly but surely.  It is mainly a change of lifestyle.   A new way of eating and regular excercise.   Baby steps,  determination,  having a good support system of friends and family.  

    You can take the  option and get the gastric surgery done.  However alot of drawbacks from having that.

    I'm sorry that the other posters don't realize the importance of this, and chose to act like five year old.  

    First you must know that the weight did not get gained over night and it will not get lost over night.  

    Second you must take each day as it comes, and not look at it that you are on a diet.  You need to make a lifestyle change, and that will not happen overnight either.  Patience.  

    Start by drinking a lot of water... a lot of times we are thristy and our bodies mistake for hunger.  Drink 8 glasses of water a day and cut out all soft drinks and fruit juices.  Skim milk is okay... and you should drink it... but not with chocolate or anything.    I would make that change in my diet for the first week.  

    In the second week, cut down on your portion size..  It's amazing how much we think we should have... Restaraunts give giagantic sizes and we become accustomed to it.     A portion of meat is about the size of a deck of cards, a cup of rice is about the size of a tennis ball.  A baked potato should be about the size of a lightbulb.  

    You need to check with your doctor, and get on a weight loss program such as Weight Watchers... the moral support is invaluable.  You can find them on line at www.weightwatchers.com

  19. If you need to lose that much, you need a doctor and I am sure the doctor would help you because this can't be good for your health.

Start slow.  If possible, work with professionals to put together an exercise plan and diet.  If this is not possible, start by walking as long as you can daily and eat six small meals a day of fruits, veggies, lean meat, etc.  Cut out fried foods, junk food, etc.  As you become stronger, increase your work out routine and add weights.  There are many reputable sites online to check out and you could even join an online site that will help you track your meals/calorie intake (e.g., calorie king).    

    Don't be tempted to starve yourself/fast (it will only slow your metabolism) or try crash diets and pills (as the weightloss will only be temporary, if at all, and that will frustrate you).
