How do you lose five pounds in a couple weeks?

I'm 120 and I want to get to 115 by like mid September. Any tips on how to do this in a small amount of time?

  1. First you need to figure out how many calories you burn.

    You start this by figuring out what your BMR is, the number of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day, you can do that here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calcul...  I am estimating that it is 1383, you did not leave your age or height so I estimated you were 5'4" and 20. You can obviously get more specific if you put in the correct info.

    From there you need to multiply that number (1383) by an activity number, you can find that here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calcul... I am estimating it is 1.4 putting you at 1936. So you probably burn between 1900 to 2000 calories a day. If you add in exercise, like 45 min 3-5 days a week, it will bump it up. Also being more active in general, like cleaning your house, car, etc Don't be lazy.  

    If you eat 500 calories less than you need in a day you will lose 1 pound a week, 1 pound = 3500 calories.

    Make sure to eat healthy, get a good variety of protein, fat and carbs. Drink 4 liters of water and keep your sodium around 2500-3500 mg.

    Well it's hard for me to lose when im like that..so it will be for you too. But I am a runner and I pump up my running and cut out cokes and eat very light meals..ALL MEALS. Dont skip..just eat very light. Good luck

  3. Cut out carbs, drink lots of water, and don't eat late meals, say nothing after 7 pm.  I find I easily drop a few pounds if I follow these steps for a few days.

  4. brisk walk an hour followed by another hour of yoga...do this 6 days a week and eat healthy

  5. Eat healthy meaning fruits and vegetables. Get at least 30 minutes of exercises 5 days a week and drink a lot of water. That is what I did and I have lost 6 pounds in 1 month.

  9. It depends alot of what you currently do as exercise.  You should eat 6 small meals a day, watch your carb and calorie intake, and do a little more cardio that you currently are.  

    And if your not exercising at all....start.
