How do you lose weight in a short period of time, like a few weeks?

I'm 14, a girl and about 5 feet, and i weigh 110 lbs. , and though everyone says that i'm normal, I still feel self conscious about my body. I have always been a moderately active person. I go for a 30 min walk each day, swimming, dance, etc. But i still find myself the shortest, and heaviest of all of my friends ! There's no question in order for me to feel more confident in myself, I have to lose weight. But i'm deciding how to do it. It's really hard for me to stick to a diet, and i find myself eating lots and lots of carbs. What i need is a solution that i can see results quickly on, giving me the momentum to continue on the diet. I'm trying to lose about 10 or 20 lbs. no more than that. Please recommend a diet, or something to help me. Thaankyouu ( :

  6. Hun, you might just be large boned.  Bone and muscle weigh more than fat.  I wouldn't be concerned about a few pounds at your age, I would worry more about developing long term healthy diet and lifestyle habits that are going to support a healthy body and healthy self esteem.  

    You are more than just your image or your body size.  Everyone at your age feels awkward and ugly for some odd reason...that is just being a teenager.  I remember feeling like that and hating my hair back then.   Just please be healthy.  There are so many sick little girls out there with eating disorders because our media makes everyone think they have to be pretty or perfect.  

    You just need to be you.  And go be the best version of yourself possible.  Whatever that is...it is perfect.  Take care dear.

  8. First off, you are 14.  You shouldn't be worried about the way you look.  Maybe you have high body fat and are 110 pounds.  Just exercise and eat the right things.  Remember your body like this

    80% nutrition

    10% genetics

    10% training

    Eat the right foods and drink plenty of water.  I am not talking nutrigrain bars.  Make sre you stay away from processed food.  Cook and ask whoever you live with to cook.  Make sure you enough calories.  If you don't your body will start holding onto extra fat.  Just be healthy, live life, maybe talk to a counselor for your self esteem and be happy.
