Question:

How do you make Canary potatoes like in the Canary Islands?

I can't find a recipe on the net that actually explains how they are cooked. I found one clue that says they are cooked in local seawater. Is this the magic ingredient?

The Canary Islands are:

Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro and La Graciosa and are Spanish governed islands off the coast of northwest Africa.

  1. Small clean pototoes unpeeled and boiled in water and sea salt (plenty). Allow the water to boil away leaving the potatoes with that wonderful Canarian salty taste
