Question:

How do you make Spanish Sangria?

I've tried Arbor Mist's Sangria, it is terrible. Every time I've tried Sangria in the states it was disgusting. But I had it in Spain and loved it. I want to know what I need to make it at home. Does anyone have a recipe?

  1. Well, I use an inexpensive red (some opt for burgundy, but i find a Two Buck Chuck works well)

I use a full bottle of the wine, two cans of Squirt (although Fresca works as well) four ounces of orange juice and lemon and orange slices on the top.

    Serves.....me!

  2. Red wine, sugar, some type of lemon/lime pop, fruit cut up, everything that everyone else has said... but the trick is to add a stick of cinnamon and sprinkle a little extra in. I promise it makes a difference!

  3. 1 bottle of red wine, grapes, oranges, apples, cherries lemons, peaches (almost any fruit that won't fall apart) 1cup of brandy, 1/4 cup of sugar, mix it all up,let it sit at least over night in fridge. there is not right or wrong way,its really up to your taste. one time i just added left over bottles of wine to the mix from the party i had that night &  it actually tasted better next day....

  4. It's a red wine and some fruits...quite tasty.

  5. You can buy the mix at Target...then just add 3 bottles of red wine and freeze...or what I do is 2 bottles of red wine and 1 cup of Vodka!

  6. wow, you're doing it quite difficult...

the easiest way of doing it is mixing red wine with sugar and kas lemon then add orange juice and if you want add some white alcohol like vodka or gin...

Sorry, I don't know the amounts, you may start mixing the wine bottle with 0.5L of lemon and 0.5L orange juice, and probe it, and then start adding the sugar...

  7. You need sangria wine (it's an actual variety of wine kids)

then add gin, vodka, rum, triple sec. even parts. mix depending on how strong you like it(4 servings start with a three count pour).  then add your fruit. peache slice, lime slice, apple, whatever. let it stand in the fridge for a couple of hours.

the key is to add the booze and fruit, and let it sit for a while.
