  1. 1 part what your using, and 2 parts whatever your solvent is.

    Most of the time the solvent is water, but sometimes you can use other solvents like ethanol, methanol, etc for things that are not soluble in water.

  3. well that one is easy, just dilute it half.

    When you have 10 ml of homogeneous solution with the analyte in it, take 5 ml of that 10 ml solution and fill this 5 ml to 10 ml with only reagent(s).
