How do you make a Henna mix from just the powder?

My friend got me a gift from Morracco; Henna, but all that came was the Henna powder and Arabic intructions. What do I need to add to the Henna and how much to make the solution?

you add water and stir, and if its still too thick keep adding water....it should be like a goop, or how the other person described it 'like frosting'

I'm moroccan and i love using henna as a decoration on my hands or on my hair. There are many different things you can add to it but i always use a green tea. Just brew some loose leaf green tea and let it sit for a bit and just add it to the desired amount of powder until it reaches a consistency that is a little less thick than toothpaste. Just eyeball it.

ok well im hindu..

and i remember doing this once from a box..

other times i get them at weddings..

umm.. i think u just add a little water and keep mixing and keep ading more water until its like the thickness of icing.

you also need to put it in some sort of tube..

rolling up wraping paper is a good idea to use..

ps: remember not to make it too think or it will jsut run off your hand

pps: the longer you keep it on your hand while its dry the darker it will get (cutting a lemmon and dabbing the juice on the henna when its fully dry also makes it darker)
