How do you make a basket?

for my final piece in art i want to make a basket as i'm studying the zulu tribe.i have looked on the internet for easy instructions but i don't understand it.any help?

well i made 3 baskets 7 years ago and u basically have to weave the pieces together....first take a number of bendable sticks and place them parallel to  each other....then weave a number of strips of bemboo or other thin wood or paper in the center of the arrangement...do that to get the base as large as u like...then gently fold up the sticks so they are facing upwards (towards the ceilings)....continue to weave more strips into your arrangement till u are satisfied with the size of the baskets....tuck in the remaining bits of the strips into the so formed basket by weaving the bits through the other side...
