How do you make a beef stock

I have some beef scraps and the fat. What else do I need for a basic stock?

  1. some vegies (onions celery carrots), some herbs (parsley thyme) and water

    boil all together, skim the fat off the top ... reduce and reduce .. salt and pepper ... and strain ... Beef stock!!


  2. Mirepoix, which is roughly cut onion, carrot, celery and spring onion. This you add to your scraps.
