How do you make a cat like you? l?

like have it follow you around everywhere and stuff?

I have had many cats in my life and few have followed me around but my 2 current cats  follows me everywhere when they are in the mood. I am not the only one that feeds them, every one pitches in but I am the one that changes their litter boxes and the one that took care of them when they got sick. They have become accustomed to sleeping on my bed and I have always been there for them when they need attention, well not always but most of the time.

Not all cats will follow you around but if you are attentive to their needs and moods you will have a better chance for success.

But remember; some cats are just too independent to follow you around.

lol you cant 'make' them like you! cats have some different personalities, some like to follow you about, my new kittens trots behind me everywhere, where as my other cat couldn't care less if i was in the room or not!

just play with him as normal make things fun, when i feed my cats i say 'dins dins' and they come running!

its all down to the individual cat some breeds the Ragdoll for example love to follow people and wag there tails! where as the himalayan is independent!

so just carry on as normal and never restrict a cat if you pick it up and it wants to get down let him let him jump up when he wants so he sees your lap as a haven maybe give him a couple of 'treats!'

my cats know 'whats this???' and that's treat time and they run over to the treat cupboard! one of my cats can even 'sit' on command!

it all takes time though! good luck! :D

Dangle a string in your back pocket, lol then he'll follow you haha.

Give the cat lots of treats and loooove, but also do a lot of the things it needs rather than likes. Like being the one to feed it, play with it, clean its litter box, etc.

Trust me, if you're the one who feeds it, your cat likes you.  But! Because of the nature and temperment of cats, you must apply for a position with the cat. Dogs have owners, cats have a staff!!!  Don't let your cat outsmart you!!

you cant realy make them do that it is the cats personality i have had lots of cats and the are very finiky some follow you every were and others would just asume lay in the chair all day..

cats naturally usually follow the master around

if you want your cat to do that then hold a treat in your hand and tell it to come

and eventually it will follow you when you say come

just spend time with it pet it play with it

most cats like strings

be your cats master if the cat sees you most of the day or very often it will think your it's master

cats tend to initially go to people who ignore it...LOL its true and then once you have bonded it will become more affectionate...you may also see if it likes catnip...my cats go nuts for it

You can't make a cat like you--see that's the difference between cats and dogs. You choose dogs and they always like you, but cats have to choose you!
