I am playing a chicken in the musical Honk! at the weekend and need to make myself a headress, but i haven't a clue how to. Could anyone help me? I would like a sort of red mohekan thing. Any ideas would be really helpful, thanks.

  1. a swim cap and some red gloves that you can stuff and stick on top of it.

  2. There was this hair accessory in the 80s/90s that you might be able to find in red. It's called a banana clip I think. You would then hot glue red felt or something that would stick up to make the mohawk.

  3. a red wig

  4. i had to make some of these many years ago for a theatre group - i made hoods similar to balaclavas but out of jersey fabric and cut out double the shape and sewed together and then attached the red thingy on top so it stood up - unfortunately I can't remember how I made it stand up

I like the idea of a swim cap idea though but can't figure out how you would attach the gloves
