Question:

How do you make a die cut for paper crafting?

I don't need a complicated design, just mostly a template for the shell of an invitation.

  1. I would use the back of a notebook, the thick cardboard that way it is able to stand up to being traced etc repeatedly.  Use an exacto knife to cut out your design, and be sure to have something under your cardboard so you do not damage your table.

    You could also consider using a foam sheet that you can buy at a craft store like Michael's but I think the cardboard would be more stable.
