There are so many ways to make a wallet from duct tape. Also - purses, clothing, costumes, roses, and messenger bags.

Got Tape?: Roll Out the Fun With Duct Tape! by Ellie Schiedermayer is a great source for wallets and other crafts. It's written for a slightly younger crowd (actually written by a high-schooler with a duct tape fascination), so instructions are straightforward.  Check your public library for it, or use Interlibrary Loan.
