  1. Find different plants along the way, and name them.

  2. Geography:

The ground (land) it stands on who traveled along it was it ranchers, Indians, oil diggers, farmers, pilgrams, immigrants or no one traveled along that area.

    Arts:

who began the characters at Six Flags and how did they come up with such characters and who designed them and animations.

    Math (financial):

value of tickets what is the total cost for the entire year if 2 thousand children visit Six Flags, profit from it and who gets the profits.

    Science:

gravity of the structure which its not on an actual mountain, all the rides, walk ways or pathways, etc

It use to be called Magic Mountain back in the 70s.

  3. You have to conduct a bunch of experiments while there. We went to Great America for a Physics class. We conducted expirements on gravity and inertia. Stuff like:

Can water stay in a cup while spinning at X miles an hour?

If cotton candy is melted sugar, is it possible for it to melt again once spun?

What kind of ice cream lasts longer?

Which horses on the merry go round go up and down the most- the inner ones or ones on outside of circle?

I don't know the name of the book where we got the experiments from but I'm sure you can look online to find some of your own.

  4. Rollercoasters are extreme feats of engineering...if you said you would each do a case study on how your favorite rollercoaster was built or designed, as well as why you love it, they should be thrilled to go!  You could do scientific studies on what G forces are and how it makes you feel. Other than that, amusement parks can also be good places to observe restaurants, retailing, security, and many other careers. Each student could write a report on what career they would most like to have at Six Flags, and what schooling is most important to be able to do that job.

Good luck! My Dad used to let us do just about anything if we could convince him we would learn a life lesson from it. I used to get to stay home from school when new Presidents went through their Inauguration and watch it on tv, then tell the family about it at dinner. (Before televisions were in school.)

    Have fun!

  5. energy,momentum,and the velocity

    acceleration

  6. The culture of the people in the area of the Six Flags, the g- force, phyics of roller coasters, and the Six Flags in Geogia  annually holds this educational day. See if the one near you has this as well.

  7. Physics of roller coaster

  8. Physics of the roller coasters. Maybe chemistry of the cotton candy. That's all I can think of.

  9. It has to do with gravity, architecture, laws of motion, and you could have a scavenger hunt or something.

  10. you can lear the angle of a hill that can push a roller coaster down a hill and through it loop

you can learn all of the types of coasters there: hair pin, steel; inverted hex, LM launch

find ou t how much electricity the park uses to power the park

ask how much a average roller coaster would coast

learn how winds can effect the ride

    ect
