Is there any way to make a website for free?

you can make a website for free with MS publisher or any website building software. Now if you want it to be on the web for everyone to see then you have to pay for someone to host the website on their computer/servers and buy the domain name you want. I host my own website from the house but have to buy the website name for 5yrs cost me $35 to buy the name. Hosting is different they usually want from $7-$20 per month to host. You can make then through say sites like geocities. but it will not be like www.mywebsite.com ... it will be morelike www.geocities.com/websites/mywebsite.htm... or the like it will not be a true domain ...Thansk

There are various websites that let you make your own website for free.  My favorite is freewebs.  The link for that one is on the bottom (obviously because it says ".freewebs." in it...)
