  1. Pull your hair into a ponytail (high or low -- depends where you want the bun) and secure with hair tie.  While twisting the hair, secure with bobbypins to keep in place.  Voila!  Instant bun.  Use bigger bobby pins for thicker hair or else your hair will escape easily.

  2. I find it easier to start with a ponytail. Keeps it secure while you twist.  Also it helps you place it where you want it (high, low, to the side)

Use some product, gel, moose etc to slick it back and hold it.  Twist it and twist, it will naturally go around one way or the other depending which way you twist.

Use lots of bobby pins to secure.  Chopstick type accessories work well too, thread them in and out of the bun.

It basically takes practice to get it right, so give yourself plenty of time if you haven't done it before.

  3. Well I"m not soo sure, but you could put hairspray and it's much better, and don't listen to people who say you can't do it with layered hair, cuz you can!!!!!! ♣

  4. you cant explain it well on the computer you have to show somebody

  5. idk

  6. A chignon is pretty easy:

1] gather all hair into a ponytail - high, low, wherever

2] start twisting hair - it will start to coil around in a circle.

3] 'wind' hair around, wrapping hair around already coiled hair.

4] You must have LOTS of bobby pins of hair pins, depending on how thick hair is, and how cooperative!

5] after pinning securely, pull out a few wisps around cheekbones

6] spritz with some hair spray/spritz

7] BONUS: when taken down, you have beachy waves!
