How do you make a good high school portfolio?

I am going to high school and don't know just how to set up my portfolio.

Within the Yahoo Finance window, select "My Portfolios" on the far right near the top of the screen.  In the drop down menu, near the bottom is a blue Plus sign - "Create Portfolio" - select it!  Then, depending on the type of portfolio you want, there are 3 options:

Track a symbol watch list

Track your transaction history

Track your current holdings

Choose 1 of the options and follow the screen prompts to create a portfolio name and enter stock symbols.
