  1. my advise, throw it all in! you can basically put anything in a smoothie, that's the fun part, seeing what you like after trial and error. It would be a berry smoothie.

When i make one, i usually add vegan yogurt (I'm vegan but its healthier than dairy yogurt anyway) and soy milk. I add just a little ice for texture. Sometimes i use a flavored soy milk like chocolate, vanilla, or coffee. It does typically have a little more sugar, but not by a lot.

    good luckk!!

It's best if you can use flaked ice.

  3. I usually do a strawberry banana smoothie. I do about five or six strawberries, depending on size and one banana. I add some plain yogurt, and just blend. I don't really measure anything, but this makes one large glass.

Best thing to do in my opinion is to just experiment.

  4. Oh man, this is the bomb:

Soymilk + frozen fruit + a little maple syrup, agave, or brown rice syrup= NIRVANA!!!!!

Just make sure that for a single serving, you put a little UNDER a cup of soymilk. Then add enough frozen fruit to make a thick smoothie. People tend to add too much liquid and too little fruit. In additon to berries (I think strawberries are the best of the bunch), bananas are very good, and papaya is sooo good; it's like icecream. Frozen, I must add...

  5. I use fresh fruit maybe a cup full, Ice and a little bit of soy milk or yogurt, throw it in the blender for a few seconds and that makes for healthy, tasty, easy smoothie!!

  6. Ofcourse get yourself a blender out. I think its easier to buy frozen fruit just so the smoothie is thicker. But put in half a cup of any flavor yogurt. And put as much fruit as you want in the blender and ice is optional if you want it colder. and simply just blend it for a while.

  7. Very Berry Banana Smoothie

    Ingredients (use vegan versions):

6 to 8 oz. almond milk (you can use soy or rice milk)

        1 banana

        handful of strawberries, fresh

        handful of blackberries, fresh

        handful of cherries, frozen

        2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

        1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 scoop of soy or hemp protein powder  (optional)

    Directions:

Pour the milk in a blender, and add the banana, the strawberries, blackberries, cherries. Then, add the flaxseed, the vanilla extract, and the protein powder.  Let it blend to your desired consistency.  Makes a hefty serving!

Serves: 1, Preparation time: 5 minutes
