We just got two nice slabs of honeycomb from the bees in our backyard. How can I make a candle with the honeycomb? Any suggestions on what to do with the liquid/crystalized honey?

  1. i've always seen most beeswax candles as slabs rolled around a wick. i would eat, sell or gift the honey.

  2. Heat the honey and it will become clear again.

Melt the wax and then let it sit and cool, the junk will sink to the bottom.  Clean it off and then melt it again and you'll have wax for dipping or poring in molds.

If you have honey in the wax when you melt the wax the honey will be found on the bottom when it cools.
