  1. Haha. You dream big. But yeah i dont know think its possible.

  2. well...make a list of goals...

    Every vehicle needs the following:

    power

    drivetrain

    wheels

    cab

    motor control (throttle)

    steering control

    brakes

    fuel tank (and/or batteries)

Then you have to go about building it...welding the pipe together, etc. Then finally assemble the drivetrain components.

  3. Hey you can dream big, yes may-may, and it is possible. I'm only 17 and I want to do this after thinking how much I'll learn and the fun factor. Don't worry if people laugh at you, its natural that most people think this is immpossible. Even my own family laughed at me when I told them the first time. But I finnaly got some support, and am still researching on "kit car building". I've been to alot of mechanics to help me do this, and looked around for random parts to see if they are availible.

I'm designing my own chassis, a very simple one. You can get one ready built, but I want it to be "homemade", and with those plans I go to the welder and work with him to make it.

As I found out, you can't use any engine, well you can but it is much easier if its a *carbuerator* (spelling) engine and not fuel injected, and I was told to go look for old engines: 65' VW BUG, and some 1.8L Subaru.

I want it real wheel drive, and so to make my life 1000x easier I'm putting the engine in the back. If I put it in the front it has to be front wheel drive. Other than that you can find all sorts of parts everywhere, suspension, steering, wheels, brakes. You get books on how to build your own car on amazon. Find a mechanic as well to help you first.

When you asked: "how do you make a homemade vehicle" the answer is not that simple, it goes into ALOT of catogories, each one important as the other. Don't feel shy to do this, ever. Its good to think outside the box.

  4. don't know, though I wouldn't use it if it was built.

  5. yes you can but i don't think it's legal if you drive it...i think all vehicles have to be government approved..

  6. i think its crazy if u crash with that thing what you cal home made no air bags no protectsion not to be rude but that sounds crazy and its also really hard to built.unless u want to put ur life on the line do it don't say i didn't warn u.
