How do you make a link downloadable?

My friend just made his own music album and he wants to make a link so people can just download it from his computer. I don't know how to do it.

Is their a site that you can download the folder onto and it gives you a link for people to click on so they can download it from there?

you can do one of two things...

put it all in a .zip folder and put it on the internet

or

have them right click the link and click save as

If the album is a file on a site, the link would be

Or he can upload it to file uploading sites (there are tons of them) and give people the URL of the file.
