  1. The most basic way I know how is type the two highlight it then right click go down to Font then make it superscript by checking the box under effects.

  2. Type the 2 as normal, highlight it, right-click, select "font" and in the area in the middle of the text box, check "superscript".

There is a way to put the "superscript" option on your toolbar, but not worth the bother if you don't use it often.

There may be an easier way, but that's what I do!!

  3. In Office 2007, underneath the font box is a little button with bold and italics and it will have an x squared sign. type the word or letter you want and then click that button and type your 2 or whatever you want

  4. Click on the "Format" menu, then on the "Font" menu item, and in the dialog that opens, check the box next to "Superscript". Remove the check mark from the box to write normally again.

  5. This is the easiest way:

    1. Select the text you want to make a superscript.

    2. Press CTRL/SHIFT/=

To make it normal text again, repeat the process.

To make a subscript, press CTRL/= instead.

    Hope that helps.
