How do you make a new playlist on iTunes>?

I've never put playlists on my iPod, but I want to start so I can be more organized. I've tried to make a new playlist, but have no idea how to. Could someone help? Thanks!

File>New playlist and then u drag the songs to it... Or right click on a song and add to playlist and u choose wich one.
