How do you make a park green?

Almost sounds like a very odd question, but how do you make a park more environmentally friendly. Here's what I have so far:

Solar powered lamps

Recycled tires for playground areas

Recycled tired for landscaping

Recycled glass for landscaping

Recycling bins [of course] :)

Although this is a house and not a park, this project is very interesting and may offer some clever suggestions for you.

:all snack bars should be vegetarian-a single meat factory produces as much Co2 as 250,000 cars on the road, and its healthier,too!

:park benches should be made from recycled wood, or at least wood not made from the amazon

:do they make play structures from recycled metal?i dont think so...
