How do you make a pinewood derby car thats powered by a C02 cartridge

Question

if you dont know a pine wood derby car is a small car one makes out of wood and puts on a slanted track next to another car and races with the force of gravity being its main power source. However I thought it would be awesome to strap a c02 cartridge on there. I know others have done...but I'm having trouble making a triggering device...(I dont want to just oput a hole in the cartridge and strap it on the car) please help if you can! oh and this isn't an official pine wood derby so I'm not breaking any rules!

you will want to buy a lanuncher. it will keep all of your fingers intact. i had co2 car send me to the hospitle. dont launch it unless you are running the car down a cable. they get out of control very fast.
