I have picture day tomorrow, and while i don't really have the fattest face, my face ALWAYS looks really round in yearbook pictures.

What are somethings i can do to make it look slimmer?

  1. uhm, use a little bronzer for the sides of your cheeks or style your hair where the sides of your cheeks can be covered

  2. Amazingly enough, the shape of your eyebrows.

    Read this:

Eyebrows with a slight arch will make the face appear longer. ust dont make it look stupid!

If you need to shape eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil or brown eyeshadow (make sure its not shimmery) less is more. And fill in slowly, to gradually build up color. Dont rush into filling your brows in - if you go slowly, and can always add more. If you fll it in all dark brown, you'll have way too much colour.

Also, dont have your hair tied up tight, and not dead straight. This will emphasise your round face shae. If you have straight hair, try getting choppy layers and a wispy longish fringe to push to the sides.

If you have curly hair (like me) you're lucky, and you dnt need to go to lots of trouble to work out a hairstyle to work with your face shape.

    Good luck!

  3. sit down on the chair sideways instead of sitting down facing the camera

like in a 45 degree angle to the camera

  4. i have a roundish face too and i find the best thing for me is sucking in my cheeks a bit and tilting my head slighty down to the side. spend the night in front of the mirror or with a camera and discover out what works for you anyway! :-)

  5. turn your head to the side and look over your shoulder if you're allowed to. thats what i do. u could also try faces out in the mirror and see whats slimming.

  6. I have this same problem and find wearing long hair (if you have long hair) down for photographs works well. Covers up my round cheeks!

  7. tilt your head down a little.  Try out a few poses with a digital camera at home.
