How do you make a scrying mirror?

I know you can make your own black mirror for scrying but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how? I have been a wiccan for several years and read somewhere something about paint the back of a round mirror with black paint I think. If anyone know how to do this I would love to know. Thanks.

My scrying mirror is Cobalt Blue.

Sorry, but painting the back of a mirror won't help. I used a round plate glass. I had it cut a the Glaziers, this is anywhere they will cut glass for you. Sometimes you can find round glass already cut. The thicker the glass the better.

I painted one side of my glass Opaque Cobalt Blue. I used a paint which was designed for glass. When it was dry. I coated the painted side with a gloss sealer.

And for my final touch, I used copper foil, like the type they use for stained glass.

I have mine mounted in a pair of sculptured hands, which a friend sculpted from some other copper scraps.
