  1. I slice them & add sugar, let them sit for just a short time & they will make a syrup.

  2. Every time I have a question like this I consult my favorite food site.  They have a recipe for absolutely everything. allrecipes.com - try it, you won't be disappointed.

  3. It is very easy I had them at my 13th birthday party , I couldn't believe it was that easy. First of all, go to store and buy a plain bakery cake and then when you get home then get fresh strawberry sauce or frost  to put on top that is it! or you can make a Cheesecake that is plain and put strawberry sauce on top ...that is it! Cheesecake is very easy to make (Just go get Phillip cheese and graham crusting pie, cream Phillip Cheese  until it is soft then spread it on pie!)

  4. remove stem cut into fourths then mash add sugar keep tasting until you have it assweet as you want it then let sit for1/2 hour to hour, then you go to town good luck

  5. You might want to get strawberry glaze to make them!  The glaze makes it sweeter so you dont have to put sugar on the strawberries and wait for it to set.  Cake then glaze then sliced strawberries and whipped topping! Hope this helps!

  6. best to get started 6 hours earlier than needed. If you have 6 hours, cut the berries once in half (remove stem) and toss into a bowl with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 or 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar. Let them "macerate" like this for 6 hours. You cannot have too much of this part, so make more than you think you could need.

Before serving time, whip real heavy cream with an electric beater.  Add 2 Tablespoons of sugar near the end of the beating process, and 2 teaspoons of real vanilla extact.  One teaspoon of cream of tartar will keep the whipped cream upright for longer, if it needs to sit at all.

Split biscuit and layer like this:

Biscuit,  loose berries, biscuit, loose berries, cream and top with whole perfect berry and a mint leaf.

Im a good cook and I adore strawberry shortcake, so I really love doing this dessert!
