How do you make a traditional female Indian head, face covering and dress covering the whole body?

How can you construct and arrange an Indian (not American Indian, but the other, eastern indian, it is called I beleive) the form of dress that is a long garment that covers most of the whole body, face, head, etc...

  1. That pic is of a sari, and that's what indian women wear. But it's not indian women that cover their faces and bodies. They are muslim women.  I'm sure you can just get some fabric or something and make it. but which one are you talking about the sari or the hijab?

  3. Yes as pointed out by others, your picture is that of a 'sari'. You are somewhat right about the covering the face/head part too. The women sometime cover their face with a portion of the sari and is referred to as 'ghoonghat'/'ghunghat'
