  1. The best way is to make a basic white sauce & add what ever cheese you like.

    make a roux by:

    melting 2 T. Butter

add 2 T flour until it is all combined.

Then add 2 c. warm milk slowly, whisking until smooth, it will thicken up & then you add 2 c. of whatever  shredded cheese you like. Cheddar, Parmesan, asiago, mozzarella, or a combination of any you like. stir until melted.

  2. Grate cheddar cheese and toss with flour. This keeps the cheese from separating and going lumpy and will thicken the sauce.  Put a saucepan on medium heat. Alternately add a little cheese and a little milk, stirring constantly.  Add a little mustard to enhance the sharpness of the cheese. Cook until hot without boiling or scorching.

  3. To expand on the Velveeta answer, cut a portion of Velveeta into chunks or cubes, put in microwave safe bowl with a little milk and microwave on low, stirring every 30 seconds or 1 minute until smooth and melted.

You can also use any grated cheese (or grate your own), but it won't be quite as good as Velveeta.

    Good luck!

  4. Yummmm. I love cheese sauce! Here, try this recipe.

  6. WA? idk wat u talk about!! LOL!!!!  i guess just melt cheese and add some other ingredients... i think

  7. Start by adding butter to a saucepan on med low heat and melt it. Add equal part flour to the pan and cook the flour for about 2-3 minutes. Add your cream, bring to a boil, and let simmer until thickened to your liking. Season to taste with salt, white pepper and a dash of nutmeg. Turn heat off and add your cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
