How do you make a wasps trap out of a 2L pop bottle?

hi, I'm trying to kill some annoying wasps, it seems like its only 2 wasps that are bugging us, someone told me I could use a 2L pop bottle with some pop left in it, I have that but I dont know where to go from there.. any help?

  1.   We use these every summer and they do work really well ---  

      step one: remove the cap from the top of the bottle, it will not be needed

       step two:measure down about six inches from the top of the rim

       step three: cut the bottle all the way around at this point

        step four: turn the top part upside down (like a funnel) and push into the bottom portion

        what happens here is that the wasps will go down the funnel where the cola is - once it is inside it cannot fly back out unless it finds the opening again - reason being wasps fly upwards - they will fly to the top trying to get out but can't because the inverted part creates a seal

  3. ace answer , snowque i done the same as you but i put fairly thick sugar water in, i swerlled it around till the sides were coated then when the wasp/fly /bee. they get so sticky they cant even climb up the sides.
