  1. usually whiskey and squirt, and if u like it strong add more whiskey and if u like it weak add less whiskey there ya go, happy drinking:)

  2. 2 oz Whiskey

Juice of 1/2 lemon (DON'T use juice from a bottle. It will turn out horrible)

1/2 oz simple syrup (Boil 1 part water, add 2 parts sugar and stir until it dissolves, then cool and put in a bottle.  It's a good thing to have on hand for a lot of cocktail recipes.  If you're too lazy, just use 1/2 Tbsp. powdered sugar)

Mix in a shaker with ice.

Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.

  3. Mix any whiskey with double quantity of ready to use sour mix. Incase  you don't have ready to use sour mix , just squeeze few lemons and simple syrup(sugar syrup)

  4. Whiskey and whiskey sour mix poured over ice.

If you want to make it from scratch, try:

    2 oz blended whiskey

    juice of 1/2 lemons

    1/2 tsp powdered sugar

    1 cherry

    1/2 slice lemon

  5. As a couple of your answers have alluded to, mix is silly. If you're making for a large party, it's best to have "sweet and sour" on hand. If not, you can keep simple syrup handy and add the juice at the time.

Simple syrup is just sugar (NOT powdered sugar) dissolved in just enough hot water to do the job. For a traditional whiskey sour, the juice should be lemon alone (so the "sweet and sour" is just a very concentrated lemonade), but if you have some that's a mixture of lemon and lime for general use, not many will notice the difference, especially after the first couple are behind them.

  6. Here is a good recipe for a whiskey sour.
