  1. If you don't want your identity stolen, don't put a lot of effort into adding a lot of fancy curlicues or developing a dashing squiggle. It's actually a lot EASIER for a forger to fake one of those than a plainly-written signature.

  2. if you mean how can you create an interesting signature for yourself, just start writing your name in cursive, print, big letters, small letters, etc. and play around with it... writing your name over and over in different ways.

i had to do this to practice my new name - got married.... so i had to re-learn my newly discovered siggy... with a new name... totally different letters, so i played around with angles, curves, overlapping letters.. things like that. tail ends on the end of the names - shorter or longer. stuff like that.

sooner or later you'll find certain shaped letters that look cool enough to incorporate into your siggy & before you know it you have a cool signature...

  3. you just play with your writing until you find something that just works for you.

mine is unique.  it's a smiley face with a halo and it's tongue sticking out and freckles with my initials in runic and lines and a heart under that.

it doesn't really have to be in writing, really.  just a certain way you verify it's you.
