How do you make an account with hsbc so that you can use online banking

i have just received my solo card and have tried to register online and it said enter credit card number and i realised i have a debit card (i can't find where to register my card) i know that it's possible as my stepmother does online banking with a solo card but shes away

I bank with HSBC and when i set it up i had to phone them and they sent me a letter with a security number to use to log in. I couldnt use it til i had that number. But whether its changed or not  i dont know.

if you got a debit card the bank will give you a code to go on your branch site and it will be on there,!!

You need to register  to on-line banking on their website and then they will send you a pin code through the post and you make a password up and every time you log in you'll provide the information on the website of a pin code and password and you'll be able to check ur account on-line and transfer money from your account to other account of yours such as a savings account.
