Ä° live with some really super neat obsessive neat freaks. Ä° like them and all, but their cleanliness habits are killing me. And they always make me feel bad for not cleaning up like a Merry Maid every time, all the time, for every little thing.

Ä°ts embarrassing and it hurts my feelings and it tears at our roommateship. Ä° will never be as clean as they are. Ä°'m not a slob, but Ä°'m jut not excited about cleanliness like they are... they have all these procedures and ritual. Ä°t's irritating! And they expect me to be like them!

  1. Just like they can't expect you to be like them, you can't expect them to be like you. If it really is something you can't deal with then find new roommates.

  2. just try to be excited about it once in a while, when you have the time. never settle for mediocre.

  3. anal penetration is in order

  4. Well, you need to find a new place to live because you are outnumbered.  I am one of those "clean" roommates, and I happen to live with someone who claims she's not a slob but actually acts like a spoiled, dirty, lazy girl who thinks that her dishes are the only things she soils in the common areas.  You have a right to keep your bedroom anyway you want it, so exert your individuality there.  If you feel like laxing on the cleaning sometimes, do it there!  But spaces that are shared with other people have to be maintained to a set standard so everyone can enjoy the space, so be more diligent with picking up after yourself in these areas and I bet your roommates will start to back off.  Otherwise, they may get fed up and throw any dirty stuff around the house that's yours onto your bed (that would be bad).  So try to compromise between how you conduct yourself in private versus shared areas.  They should be grateful, however, if you give any help at all in cleaning.  Even if it's not to their standards exactly, they should be appreciative of your efforts (I would be).

  5. Clean your s**t. I'm pretty sure your roommates don't expect you to be neat freaks like them, but if you are sharing a common area then everyone should do their part and help keep the space clean. What you do in your own bedroom is your business, but at least, try to meet your roommates halfway.

  6. butt s*x.

  7. Unfortunately, with such habits, the only solution is for you to move out. You cannot change who you are; and they cannot change who they are.

  8. just keep ur stuff clean  and keep ur stuff in ur room    wash ur dishes     do a couple things if u see needs to be cleand    like some days  i notice my kitchen needs to be mopd  and i just do it right when i notice

  9. As a person who would be the obsessive roommate, have you considered how hard it is for them to live with you? I don't mean that horribly, but it's difficult to be someone who wants everything to be clean and in it's place *and* live with people who don't understand your cleaning rituals.

  10. There really is not much you can do to change the way they are.  You will have to keep cleaning up after yourself to keep the peace.  That is the drawback with having roommates.

  11. Tell them you will meet them in the middle, clean a little more than you normally would if they will stop tearing you down.  there has to be some compromise on both parts to make any relationship work out.

  12. Oh well. Ignore them! Do your part to clean as much as you feel necessary, and then relax! Who cares if they want it cleaner? Let them do it themselves if they want it so badly. You shouldn't have to clean your own room if you don't want to, but tidy up your combined living areas to your standards, and if they want to do more, let them. ;)

  13. find new roommates

or make it clear to them that you arent going to change who you are just because it is how they think you should be

  14. haha. anal. haha
