I am considering applying to schools in Europe for graduate school (I live in US). My fiance supports this and wants to move there with me for the 18 month program. I would be a full time student, but how hard would it be for him to move with me? Would he have to get a work visa and would it be very difficult for him to find a job? Would it be easier if we were married first?

  1. Being only 18 I wouldn't know much about marriage but my sister is currently studying abroad and i know that she works part time. I don't believe she needs working papers and I'm sure if you set it up ahead of time you could get them fairly quickly. If its meant to work then it will. Just be glad that he will actually get to stay with you- think about all of the soldiers who have to leave their fiances/ wives/husbands/ and unborn children to go fight for a year or two. I'm sure you'll find away to make it work.
