Sit in a very quiet room and put a cold rag on your head and think about nothing just relax and fall asleep

If this is a brand new kind of headache or it is in a different spot than usual - don't waste time, go to a walk in clinic or e.r. right now.  Otherwise, the cold cloth on head and warm on neck with Excedrin Migraine medicine (at the suggested dose) should do the trick.  Make sure you turn off the lights, are in a comfortable position and try to clear your mind.

*Try not to move around much (Exercise)

*Put a cool damp cloth on your forehead

* Don't go near bright lights of any kind

* Take panadol/pain tablets regularly

*If it still persists, try the medication Anagrain, you don't need a prescription but it helps me when i get really bad headaches or migraines.

I have a two friends that get major headaches.  One is a migrane.  they both SWEAR by Excedrin or Excedrin Migraine.  They say that's the only thing that works for them.  My son gets them and Advil and sleep works for him.  I guess you have to just keep trying different methods until you find one that works for you but I would try the Excedrin, it has a good reputation for bad headaches.

well you could put your palm on the spot with pressure for a few minutes or tie your head with a piece of cloth putting some bay rum or rubbing alcohol if that does not work take tylenol or advil and take a nap.

rub a little vic's salve into your temples then lay down with eyes closed for about 15 minutes
