Chemical reactions, are known, to create new products from the initial reactants. Many chemicals can be added together to make a chemical reaction. Most of us are already aware of this fact that mixing vinegar and baking soda together results in a very bubbly reaction. The final product that is formed in this reaction are sodium acetate, water and carbon dioxide. This explains the bubbles: They are just bubbles of carbon dioxide gas.
