How do you make coffee?

I know a bit but I'm only 14 and I don't drink coffee.

But I would like to know please. Thank you very much.

To make a pot of coffee you use 1 scoop (1/8 cup or one half of 1/4 cup) of coffee for every 2 cups of water.  If your pot makes 10 cups you put 5 scoops of coffee & a paper filter, fill your pot with water & pour it into your coffee maker.  A heaping tablespoon works also if you don't have a coffee scoop.  You have to put your coffee pot back before the coffee starts dripping.  I usually only make 4 cups in the morning & use 2 scoops of coffee.  If you are making instant coffee, just boil a cup of water & use one teaspoon of coffee, depending on how strong you like it.

Really bubbling boiling water shouldn't be used.

Follow the instructions on coffee package and those that come with the cafetiere.

then add half spoon of sugar if necessary

then add hot milk to it

First you buy a coffee maker, the directions are inside. You add a filter and a couple scoops of coffee and water. Wait and tada. you have the coffee. Good luck.

Main rule is,don't use boiling water, let it cool slightly.

Otherwise you will scald your beans(and you don't want that!).

OR you can boil milk in a saucpan and make a nice milky coffee, instead of using water.

Here is my detailed plan on "How i make my coffee" (and yes, i have nothing better to do)

I turn on the kettle. I get a cup. I place one teaspoon of decaffinated coffee into the cup. I pour the boiled water into the cup untill it fills up 3/4 of the way. Then i pour semi-skimmed milk to fill up the last 1/4. Then i drop in 2 sweetners. Stir. And then ENJOY!

Terms and conditions - the results of these instructions are extremely variable. Take caution with stupid little hamsters running round your kitchen.

You'll need a coffee maker to brew the coffee.  If you want good fresh coffee it's best that you grind your own coffee beans in which case you'd need a coffee grinder.  Coffee can either be bought ground or still in bean form.  Your coffee maker will have a compartment that will need to be filled with water.  There is a second campartment to add the coffee to.  Some coffee makers come with a mesh filter, however for many coffee makers you'll have to purchase paper coffee filters.  Once you have the water and coffee in the machine you push the "start" button.  The best tasting coffees are flavored coffees.
