Like the ones in this picture: http://www.mystictribal.com/friendship_bracelets_large.jpg

I like how some of them aren't completely flat, like it "pops" up in spots. I've googled it, but all I could find was that picture, but no instructions.

  1. Here are some sites with patterns and instructions:

    http://www.steffe.se/fb/index.php

http://hbernb.atspace.com/index.html (be sure to check out the forum as people post patterns and request patterns all the time....it's addicting)

    http://www.stetson.edu/~efriedma/bracele...

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck. :)

EDIT: I realized after posting that A) I didn't read your question properly and B) the picture showed up real small on my monitor - stupid Vista. At any rate, I didn't realized you wanted raised patterns. :(  Dummy me. I haven't been able to find those patterns either. You can post that picture on the forum link and ask for help. Someone will help you if the pattern is not copyrighted.

  2. i know one, you can take however many colors you want. Cut a reasonable amount of the strings and tape one end of them to a table or counter. then simply take them at the end and start to twist them one way. Once they are pretty tight. Take the end you are holdign and put it up to the end taped to the desk. ( keep a finger at the bottom so it doesnt bunch up before you let go. )  then line them up pretty close together and let go. (only let go at the bottom or you will have to start over )they will twist up together and it looks really cool.

  3. Hi, you could try here: http://www.steffe.se/vanskapsband/kurs.p...

There are links for 'striped bracelet', 'bracelet with arrows', and 'bracelet with squares'.  (under the title "recommended step-by-step instructions).  And more instructions are here... http://www.steffe.se/vanskapsband/stegfo...

If you browse around that site, you should find some other useful tips too.

There's also lots of instructions on this site... http://www.friendship-bracelets.de/index...

It looks like a lot of instructions are written using terms like "RR", "LL", "RL", "LR", etc but that website shows you what they mean.

    Hopefully that helps.

    Good luck.
