  1. Egg salad is not difficult to make, but it is a bit time consuming.

    Ingredients:

    4 eggs

    1 stalk celery

    1/4 cup mayo

    2 tablespoons sour cream

1 teaspoon mustard (any variety you like)

    juice of 1 lemon

    1/2 tsp salt

    1/2 tsp pepper

Place eggs in a heavy bottomed pot that will hold them all with plenty of room to spare. Cover the eggs with cold water and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let it sit covered, for 15 minutes. Immediately dump out hot water and plunge eggs into cold water. (The heat that builds up inside the egg will continue to cook it otherwise.)

Refrigerate eggs for an hour or so until cold.

    Meanwhile...

Finely chop celery. Add celery to:

mayo, sour cream (lightens the taste of the mayo) mustard, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Mix all together. This is a good dressing for your egg salad. (I like to mix the dressing all together before I add the eggs because you don't want to over mix the egg salad once you add the other ingredients or they'll turn to mush.)

Take out the hardboiled eggs and lightly tap them all around on the counter. Using a teaspoon or just your fingers, peel the eggs. It will help if you peel them under running water. Discard the shells and rinse the eggs off to ensure there are no little bits of shells stuck to the eggs.

Cut the egg in half, scoop out the yolk and put the yolks in a large bowl. Mash the yolks slightly with a fork.* (see note) Cut the whites into smallish cubes and add to yolks. Add dressing and gently mix. Tastes great on pumpernickle or rye bread toast!

    * Note: To make deviled eggs stop at this point, mix the yolks with the dressing and stuff it by the spoonful into the egg white halves.

  2.

    HAM & EGG SALAD

10 eggs, hard boiled & chopped

    2 c. ham, chopped

    1/4 c. sweet pickles, chopped

    1 stalk celery

    1 tbsp. onion, minced

1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing

    2 tbsp. milk

    2 tsp. vinegar

    3/4 tsp. salt

Peel hard boiled eggs and chop into a large bowl. Add ham, sweet pickles, celery, onion, vinegar and salad dressing; stir and mix well. Then add the milk and salt; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve

  3. Perfectly Boiled Eggs

    1 dozen large eggs

    Water to cover

    Pinch salt

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Season with a pinch of salt. Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cover with a lid. Allow the eggs to sit for 12 minutes. Drain and cool the eggs for 2 minutes in ice water. Drain and peel the eggs.

Note:  Eggs that are a couple of weeks old or older peel easier than very fresh eggs.

    Egg Salad

    4 hard boiled eggs, chopped

1 Tbsp. pickle relish (I like sweet, but dill is ok too)

2-4 Tbsp. mayonnaise (to your desired degree of "wetness")

2-3 tsp. yellow or dijon mustard

1 tsp salt, or to taste

½ tsp. pepper, or to taste

Combine all.  Taste for seasoning.  Spread on bread.

  4. by now you know how to boil egg.  i slice in thick chuncks then just add salad dressing(miracle whip), and about 1 tablespoon sour cream and salt and pepper

  5. EASY EGG SALAD

    Things You’ll Need:

        * 4-6 hard boiled eggs

        * salt and pepper

        * light miracle whip

        * regular mustard

    Step1

Boil egg for 20 minutes. Till shells crack

    Step2

peel and let cool (run under cold water to cool faster)

    Step3

Chop eggs, mix eggs, mayo, mustard salt and pepper in bowl. Chill 1/2

    Serve on toast with lettuce

  6. Boil some eggs, potatoes and then cut them up into little cubes. Mix them together and add mayo, salt, mustard ,pepper, celery, onion . Boil 1 cup of water with a cube of chicken bullion and add it to everything else. That should be it. Enjoy!

  7. Boil two eggs-dice the eggs up ,diced onions, diced green bell pepper, relish, mayo, salt and pepper to taste and a little yellow mustard.Mix everything together and serve on bread or a lettuce leaf.

  8. Two scambled eggs and then mix in mayo. You can add onions or celery to it, too.

  9. Boil any number of eggs, depending on amount you want to make.  Allow time for the eggs to cool down in cold water. This helps the shells come off easily. I llike to slice the eggs in small irregular pieces as opposed to mashing and after placing them in a mixing bowl, add ingredients like; relish, pimentos, celery flakes, wheat germ, dash of mustard, mixed with salad dressing, e.g. lemon poppyseed, sweet onion, etc., or you can use miracle whip, just enough to moisten the sliced eggs. Not too much dressing, it will be too creamy. The end mixture should have lots of texture, lots of color and flavor, and ready to top on toast, crackers, or used with corn scoops.

  10. 1. Place 3 eggs in a pot. Fill with cold water just enough to cover them.

    2. Bring eggs to a boil. When the water boils, cover with a tight fitting lid and remove from heat. Let stand for 15 minutes.

    3. While the eggs are standing, mix 1 cup or so of mayo with 3-4 tablespoons of relish, 1/4 cup of minced onion, and a few squirts of mustard.  Season with salt and pepper.

    4. When your eggs are ready, drain the water and peel eggs.  Cut the eggs up and mix them in your dressing.

  11. Boil 6 eggs on high for 8 min's. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit 15 minutes. Peel, place in large mixing bowl and mash with fork. Add 2 Tbsp's mustard and a 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. Add some diced onion, dill pickles, and sweet pickles then mix together.

  12. Depending on how much you want to make,  figure 2 eggs per sandwich.  Boil the eggs, run under cold water, peel.  I use an egg slicer and cut the eggs both ways-horizontally and vertically.  I use a bit of dijon mustard, mayo, diced green peppers and diced scallions.  You can add a bit of diced red pepper also for extra taste and color.  A dash of salt and blend all ingredients together.  Chill before serving.  Makes a nice sandwich, serve with crackers or eat on a bed of lettuce with a tomato wedge.

  13. you boil like two or three eggs per person and then when they are ready (look up how to boil eggs) peel them and rinse them off so that the little pieces of shell are gone and then crumble them and mix them with mayo and you can add relish if you want to (i don't like it).

  14. Put eggs in boiling water for 8 minutes, along with a struck match as this stops the eggs cracking.

Then put in cold water and crack them - this stops you getting a black ring round the yolk.

Leave to cool , then shell and chop into chunks.

Add a little water to some mayo, salt, pepper and a sprig of chopped or a teaspoon of dried parsley .

    Mix with chopped egg.

Eat as a salad or put in sandwich.

  15. put water ( not too much water just to cover the eggs), 3 eggs and 1 tbs salt in a pot.

boil for 6 minutes ( you might want to take one in a plate and cool it with water then crumble it and see if it is enough or you should wait more)

after finish boiling, rains them under a cold water then crumble them.

with a knife cut them to small cubes

mix salt, pepper, mayonnaise, parsley, cucumber and olives (add whatever vegetable you like)

gently add the eggs cubes to the mixed vegetable at the end (to keep their shape)

    Hope u like it
