  1. very carefully......

    ....

just kidding you use a flat surface of a stick and another stick and rub it along the flat one hard and fast, when you make an imprint you should put little peices of extremly dry grass on it, and the friction of continuous rubbing will make a fire TA-DA

  2. take both sticks and rub them together very fast and hard.

  3. Pile them up with some newspaper, strike a match, a light the newspaper.

You didn't say using ONLY sticks

  4. Bend a green stick like a bow held taut by a shoelace. Wrap the lace once around a hardwood stick (A) sharpened at one end. Place some cedar tree shavings around a small indentation in a piece of cedar wood (B). Put  (A) into (B) and draw the stringed bow back and forth (like playing a fiddle) while holding the stick down with a block of wood (C) in the palm of your hand. Blow on the shavings as they heat to supply oxygen. When fire starts, add tiny dry cedar twigs. Add larger and larger twigs as is burns better until chopped cedar can be added.

Success will depend on how hungry/cold you are in the wild.

Safety is of utmost importance and a young person must be with a responsible adult. It must only be done close to water and away from forests. This method works but it can be extremely dangerous.

  5. Just use a rock and rub it together, friction, duh :)

  6. a few days ago a saw a native american do it he was good

  7. Your an idiot!!!! get a piece of wood and a match?

  8. Rub two sticks together, making sure one of them is a match...no problem!

  9. Get a match and light 'em

  10. Its accualy really hard. i have done the bow and arrow kind and it took 45 mins to get a spark to ignite my fire. I used 2 peices of pine because they are flexable and on one i bent it a bit and tied a shoe lace on each side to make it look like a bow then the other you (this is hard) twist it into the bow string part so when you start moving the bow back and forewarth like you are playing a violin the straight stick will twist (all this time you are holding the straight stick down with a rock other wise you will make a hole in your hand) and you are twisting it on a log of some sort that is very dry. you need to also have some try tinder type stuff at the ready when u have the sparks.

google it im sure you will find a guide!
