  1. Florists will make them the day before and refrigerate them .. but cover them to keep them from browning.

  2. Any wedding I have been in, the flowers arrive in a plastic bag and have been refrigerated.

  3. My mom is allergic to flowers and she stayed with me for several months after her husband passed away and everytime my husband would give me flowers I had to put them in the fridge so it would not kick start her allergies and i noticed they would last 2-3 days before they started to go a brownish color.  So a friend  suggested that I put them in the crisper with my veggies and it actually gave me almost an extra week with the flowers.

  4. Usually the florist will make them the night before and then refrigerate them.

We didn't have a problem because we used fake flowers at my wedding for everything except my bouquets (real and throw away). My mother-in-law and I made everything. They looked great, it was way cheaper and no one knew the difference.
