How do you make iced tea so that it tastes like the stuff in the cans in the store? whenever i do its cold tea

whenever i do it its like you took hot tea and made it cold. i know thats what its supposed to taste like but i want it to taste like that good iced tea in the cans/bottles like brisk.

I find that if I double the water to tea bag ratio it actually helped. Instead of one bag for two cups, use one bag for four cups. Hints of lemon, lime or orange might help. Sweeten to YOUR taste, there's no rule for flavour! GL

To make it by the pitcher. Take 3 tea bags - the large ones, not the dainty little ones for individual cups, put in approxiamtely 2-3 cups water - microwave for about 5 minutes. Pour in pitcher and add sugar - about 1/2 cup. stir to melt sugar, fill pitcher with water, add lemon

The stuff in the stores is LOADED with sugar. YUK.

Boil a gallon of water with 6 tea bag for regular tea, or 8 bags for decaf. Use either lipton, red rose or salada. Sweeten with one level cup of sugar. After it cools, you can add some lemon juice if you wish.

boil lipton tea and the water at the same time, don't use too much sugar a put a hint of lemon
